Body Touches Body

Body Touches Body is an interdisciplinary project at the meeting point of shibari, body art and photography. It searches for relationships between things that may appear incompatible: freedom and restraint, nudity and drawing, body and image.

Rope changes the painted body; paint shifts the reading of rope; the photograph holds both inside a single frame. The three works form a sequence about transformation, weight, support and the boundaries we choose to enter.
