Shibari photography in Tel Aviv

This is an individual shoot. You do not need rope experience or a partner. I handle both the rope and the camera.

You can come with an idea for a shoot. Or simply with curiosity… We will talk first, then decide what to do in the studio.

I shoot in Tel Aviv. Other locations are possible too — let’s discuss it.

If your email app does not open, copy the address and write to me.

Private shibari photography session

This shoot is for you. I do not publish the photographs.

Before we meet, we will talk about what interests you, the look you would like to explore and your boundaries. Clothing, how much you wish to reveal, your experience with rope — all of this belongs in the conversation. We will go through preparation together too.

A session usually takes one and a half to two hours.

1,100 ₪

Studio hire and 10–15 edited photographs included.

I select and edit the photographs myself. I usually deliver the finished selection within one to two weeks.

If you are interested in body art or styling, we can discuss it beforehand and see what might work for the shoot.

If you would like me to photograph you working with your own rope partner, we can discuss that arrangement separately.

How it works

Before we meet

Tell me what brought you here and which photographs speak to you. I ask questions and suggest possibilities. We agree on a date and location; I will let you know what to bring beforehand.

In the studio

Rope, light and the position of the body all connect. Sometimes a slight turn of the head changes the whole image. We work on this together, adjusting the pace and complexity to your experience and how you feel. If something does not feel right, say so: we can stop and change what we are doing.

Afterwards

Then comes my part: selecting and editing. I put the photographs together and send you the finished selection.

Expressive black-and-white portrait with an upturned face and ropes around the head and shoulders.

Creative projects

Sometimes I start with a theme I want to explore through photographs. I build a series, invite people to take part and work with other artists, including body painters. But when a particular person joins, the idea can change. That interests me.

If this kind of work speaks to you, write to me. We will discuss the idea and the terms of participation. We agree on publication and exhibitions beforehand: where and how the photographs may be shown should be clear before the shoot.

04

Where to begin

Write a few lines about what caught your interest and when you would like to meet. If the idea has not quite found its words yet… you can start with a photograph that speaks to you.
